I met Lloyd in Dallas many years ago….he’s a character and an inspiration to no budget guerrilla film makers everywhere. Cannibal is a good one…..check out “Redneck Zombies” if you haven’t already.

I had this argument with some locals while in Denver recently….they think they rule over P-Town, but I politely informed them it was simply the thin mountain air going to their heads….but, to be fair…they did have some mighty fine microbrew.

I lived in the Metroplex for 12 years and while it is a great city, here are the negative things that you will face coming from Portland:
1. It hot as hell for over half the year….you will melt.
2. The air quality is shite….you will probably cough up blood.
3. The mass transit system is still only about halfway to where it should be.
4. Driving long distances is an almost daily necessity.
5. 8.25% sales tax.Don’t get me wrong….I had some of the best times of my life living there, but I can’t imagine what it would be like for someone to move from the Northwest to Texas….I’m glad I did it the other way around. Was just there a couple of weeks ago on our tour….the Tex-Mex and other authentic culinary delights definitely are still incredible…..Sundance Square and many other parts of Fort Worth are still worth the thirty minute drive over…..AND you will feel right at home with all those great strip clubs….check out former Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul’s Clubhouse for the full effect….

You’re in a band with a bunch of other good musicians….no need for stage fright…you guys sounded great! Try this though….works for me…I haven’t needed to do it in a couple of years, but when I would get really wound up with anxiety before a show I’d draw Egyptian protection symbols on both of my hands….specifically the Eye of Horus. I’ve had drinks thrown on me, but never a serious murder attempt….give it a try.
